Panacea MedTech, pediatric medical devices and a modular clubfoot bracing system for babies and children

Pediatric Medical Devices

Bracing a child can actually live with.

Panacea MedTech builds accessible pediatric devices for problems that already have treatments but still have poor outcomes. Our first is a modular clubfoot brace designed for comfort, adjustability and real control of external rotation.

01 / About Panacea

Pediatric problems that already have a treatment, and still have a gap.

Panacea MedTech is a pediatric medical device company focused on improving treatment options and long term health outcomes for children. We develop innovative, accessible solutions for conditions where treatments exist but are limited in their impact.

Our initial product is a modular clubfoot bracing system engineered to improve comfort, adjustability and control of external rotation compared with existing braces on the market. By addressing the key barriers to brace compliance, including rigidity, discomfort and a lack of customization, this brace is positioned to reduce relapse rates, decrease the need for repeat interventions and improve long term outcomes for clubfoot patients.

Our mission
To create accessible medical innovations that tackle overlooked challenges in pediatrics.
Our vision
To become a leader in pediatric medical innovation with accessible, evidence based solutions that improve adherence, clinical outcomes and quality of life for children worldwide.
02 / The Technology

Built around the three reasons families stop bracing.

Clubfoot treatment works when the brace is worn. Compliance is where outcomes are lost, so the design brief started there rather than with the hardware.

Controlled external rotation

Controlled external rotation

Graduated dials at each mount let the prescribed angle be set precisely and held there.

Comfort at every contact point

Comfort at every contact point

Lined cuffs and padded straps spread pressure so a child tolerates the full wear schedule.

Modular and boot compatible

Modular and boot compatible

Tool free brackets fit the bar to the Ponseti boots a family already has.

Barriers to compliance
Rigidity
Fixed bars force one posture. Ours adjusts rotation and width independently on each side.
Discomfort
Soft goods carry the load at every contact point, because skin comfort decides night wear.
No fit options
Modular parts let a clinician tune the prescription instead of replacing the whole system.

“A treatment only works as well as a family can live with it. That is the part we are designing for.”

Claire Olivas

Founder

Claire founded Panacea MedTech to close a gap she kept running into in pediatric care. Treatments for conditions like clubfoot are well established and highly effective on paper, yet outcomes still slip when the devices themselves are hard for a family to live with day after day.

Her focus is design that respects the people using it. That means devices built with clinicians, tested with families and priced to stay accessible, so the treatment plan and the real world finally line up.

06 / What guides us

How we decide what to build.

Better long term outcomes

Reducing relapse and the need for repeat interventions is the measure that matters.

Designed for children

Sized, padded and adjusted for infants and toddlers, not scaled down from adult hardware.

Adjustable by design

Rotation, width and length change with the child and with the prescription.

Compliance first

Every design decision traces back to whether the brace actually gets worn.

Built with clinicians

Developed alongside the orthopedic teams who manage Ponseti treatment.

Accessible by intent

Modular parts and boot compatibility keep the cost of staying in treatment down.
